TATER S FOR TOTS CHARITY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT!
Submitted by admin on Fri, 12/11/2009 - 6:38am.Paladin Sports Outreach has announced that it will hold its annual Taters for Tots Charity Softball Tournament and Homerun Contest on Saturday, January 16. All proceeds from the day's events will directly benefit PSO's free youth baseball and softball instructional clinics to be held in 2010.
The charity tournament, which is open to 16 adult men's teams, will include a homerun contest, new and gently used equipment drive, concessions, and raffles. Players are encouraged to "swing for the fences" as a monetary donation will be made to PSO for every homerun hit during the tournament games.
PSO's youth baseball and softball instructional clinics will kick-off on Saturday, February 13 in San Tan Valley. These free clinics focus on comprehensive baseball and softball fundamentals including throwing, receiving, hitting, infield, outfield and baserunning. Youth participating in our clinics receive small group, expert instruction from local coaches and experienced players. Clinics are open to boys and girls ages 6-13.
Registration is now open for both the charity softball tournament as well as the February instructional clinic. Additional details, along with online registration, are available on our website, www.paladinsports.org.
